Sinead was born and raised in Ireland and she moved to Nova Scotia in 2011. Sinead earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and her Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of Galway, Ireland, in 1992 and 1995 respectively. Sinead spent almost 20 years working as an entrepreneur in the hospitality industry in the west of Ireland. Her company owned several award-winning restaurants.

Sinead completed her studies with the Federation of Law Societies in Canada in December 2013 which awarded her with the National Certificate of Accreditation in order to qualify for admittance to the bar in January 2015.

Sinead conducts a general practice in Yarmouth and surrounding Tri-County area with a focus on litigation. Sinead has an avid interest in personal injury law and civil litigation but has an extensive and varied caseload in the areas of Family Law, Wills & Estates and Real Estate also. Sinead has significant experience in trial advocacy in Supreme Court and Family Court.

Sinead is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers Society, APTLA, and Western County Bar Association. She also sits on the Board of Directors of Juniper House in Yarmouth. In her spare time, she enjoys time with family and friends and is passionate about cooking, travel, and loves to read.
